"Well cared for at East Surrey A and E"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I received excellent care when I was admitted to A and E with concussion and whiplash following a fall from my horse.

All the staff especially the doctor and nurses treated me with care and compassion. I was made to feel like a person and not just a patient.

I was kept informed the whole time and I was there for approx three hours so I felt they took their time with me and didn't rush me through even though they were busy. I was required to have a CT scan and this was explained and I was very well cared for by the doctor administering this.

Dear Webby

Thank you for taking the time to post such a good story of your recent time in A&E and x-ray at East Surrey Hospital. I'm sure a fall from a horse can be a very stressful experience and it's really good to read that you felt so well looked after by the team in A&E

I will ensure your message is passed on to them.

Kind regards

Ian
