Last October I was under the Care of a consultant and had to undergo surgery in the Day Unit. From the moment I was admitted to the day unit all the staff from both medical and nursing treated me with great respect as a person and not a number, this I appreciated very much. I worked as both a nurse then a midwife in the NHS for just under 48 years and tried to do this with all my patients I think it most important. Thank you.
