"Recent interventional procedure and overnight hospital stay"

About: Raigmore Hospital

(as the patient),

I underwent uterine artery embolisation in the interventional radiology department that required planned overnight stay.

Due to severe ischaemic pain I required patient control analgesia (PCA), this was explained fully to me beforehand.

The pain was unbearable, the PCA was effective.

Hazel, Pat, Jan, Peter, Rebecca, Charlotte, Pauline and Sharon looked after me brilliantly.

Dear happyjxx

Thank you for taking the time to feedback and I am delighted that things went so well for you. We have a brilliant team and I am so pleased to be able to provide them with your comments. You make a good point about introductions and I will certainly reinforce this at our daily"huddle" meeting

Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery

Kind regards

Linda
