"My complicated pregnancy"

Unfortunately I had a complicated pregnancy which involved a number of additional scans and invasive tests. This was a very stressful time for myself and my husband. The consultant, nurses form the foetal care unit and the genetic department staff were exceptional. I always felt my treatment was very well trained, professional and caring staff.

The only thing I would change is to have a separate waiting area for foetal scans. I had to sit in a regular waiting area waiting for scans when I knew I had a number of pregnancy complications. This was exceptionally stressful.
