My husband attended the ENT clinic and the doctor was very helpful and friendly. My husband was referred for a urgent CT scan within 2 weeks. We checked at reception before we left to ensure they had the write mobile numbers etc. They have not called within the 2 weeks. Whats worse is since 10/06/2014 I have literally called the outpatients appointments line over 20 times a day and have call records printed to report this. I am appalled that my husband who has been referred under the suspected cancer pathway, has been trying everything possible to get this appointment. We have even emailed on the 12/06/2014 and yet have had no response. I have called the main switchboard with no luck what so ever. I just cant understand how its not possible to get through to this department. I am reporting this to PALS tomorrow and will never be referred to this hospital as they dont follow there urgent referral time frames clearly. And before I get a reply asking if i rang the correct numbers I have tried all numbers possible, the ones on the website, the ones on the letters from the hospital. I am disgusted that someone refereed to as a suspected cancer patient has to go through the stress of chasing a appointment that should have been made.
