"A&E -blood clot -01.06.14"

I recently visited NGH A&E and was treated by the doctor. The service I received was outstanding. The doctor put me at ease straight away. I was in a lot of pain and quite scared as were my husband and daughter but their bedside manner put us all at ease and he inspired confidence in his abilities. I was admitted to the surgical assessment ward where I spent 4 days and 3 nights. On each of those nights the doctor popped in to see me, I dont know if he was just passing and popped in to check on my progress or if this was part of his duties. Whatever the reason the doctor was really lovely, he made me feel really cared for, I know people always Complain when things go wrong or not as quick as they would like when visiting A&E however the hospital was extremely busy and all staff were running around like headless chicken but not once did I feel neglected. The service I received was amazing and I would like the hospital and the doctor to know how much I appreciated the service I received that night. The doctor is a credit to NGH and the national health service. Thank you so much.
