"excellent care 2nd to none"

About: St Helier Hospital

71 yr-old female. A&E admission for abdominal pain & vomiting. From Weds.p.m to Thur. eve - transferred to Frank Deas Ward during night. Care given was of highest degree at all times. Professional, reassuring & nothing was too much trouble. The kindness was overwhelming and they 'went the extra mile' to ensure fed & watered following my fast - outside of their food times. Very special thank you to the senior nurse who ensured my personal care & reassurance right up to my being seen to exit on discharge. This is my 2nd encounter with a month (different dept) and I can't rate the complete care received highly enough.

Thank you so much for giving our A&E and surgical assesment unit a five-star review! Our teams work hard to make sure our patients get the very best of care in their hour of need. We hope you have recovered well, and would like to thank you for sending on your comments to us. Amanda Lavender, Joint Head of Nursing for Medicine.
