"Direct telephone system"

About: Alexandra Hospital

This is the biggest rip off I have ever encountered. It's a premium rate number. My Mom who is in Ward 9 and I have her direct phone number -They've changed it! Thanks to the staff on that ward who helped me by telling me the new phone number. I did get to speak to her but no thanks to the telephone system. By the way, their customer services do not appear to answer the phone on Sundays - no problem but I will be phoning them tomorrow and asking the questions. Alexander Hospital, you are making loads of money from parking fees and I would just love to know how much you make from someone like me who wants to phone my Mom. By the way, I do not live in the UK so it is an international call every time I have to speak to someone. but I will be coming over in a weeks time and perhaps you explain the system to me then (including the fact that you do not allow flowers on the ward).
