I had my tkr on the 20th march 2014 I was admitted to ward 1 and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hospital and my ward . the staff were absolutely excellent from anaesthesia to surgeon to recovery room , back on the ward again this continued what ever I needed the staff were there not making me feel embarrassed at all . I hope you all know how much your combined care meant to me , as a patient you feel very vulnerable and all your care was so very appreciated, the only part of the system that disappointed me was that when at home I received a text asking me about my care on ward 1 I answered of course even after my phone carrier (t.mobile) advised me I would be charged your text stated It was free , which is it brg free or charged you may be missing out on a lot feedback. Many thanks to my consultant who did an excellent job. Marilyn scott
