I just wanted to thank the Professor and team very much for all their help, care and for the treatment that I have received over the last few years. When I first came to the Hospital I was terrified of visiting the dentist, which is how I ended up in the mess I was in. I was diagnosed with acute Peridontitis and was in a great deal of pain and discomfort. Since visiting the hospital the staff and students have been so reassuring and caring that I feel I have now overcome most of my anxieties and my teeth and gums are certainly healthier. They were particular kind to me on several occasions. When I had to visit the emergency clinic for an extraction, I saw her briefing a colleague about my case and I was seen straight away. On another occasion they offered to see me themselves, when I thought another abscess was forming. The student who was treating me at the time had told her that she was worried she couldn’t see me because she was sitting her exams. I can not recommend the Dental School Hospital highly enough and the high standard of care and treatment that I have received has been exceptional. I think you should be very proud of what is achieved at the Dental Hospital and I hope that the school, hospital and staff are valued as much as I value them.
