After visiting my GP with an ear infection on a Monday evening, they informed me if I was no better on the Weds am, I was to ring them as they would then refer me to ENT at the JR. I was told to get to the JR before 6 that evening. I can't fault the next 5.5hrs of my stay in SSIP...the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the nurse who 'booked' me in was very sweet, and yes....I did have to wait to be seen, but realise the Dr's at this hospital see a lot of people and are very busy. I was extremely well looked after, and the Dr's were very caring and considerate. I have since been back to the ENT clinic twice through the emergency appointment system as follow ups for my original problem, seeing a different Dr both times, and can only praise the work they do and the care they share. My waiting time has been minimal, and treatment first class. Just wanted to say 'Thank You'!
