"Outstanding service and professionalism"

I recently had to attend Salford Royal due to a broken ankle. The professionalism of staff in the A+E and orthopaedics departments can only be described as outstanding. The day I attended A+E was a busy day but I was treated and able to go home within 4.5 hours, the next day at my orthopaedics appointment I was seen bang on time and treated effectively and professionally. All staff, porters, nurses, technicians, doctors and consultants were polite, helpful and professional. I felt that I was treated as a whole person, not just as an ankle injury. I have always had an irrational fear of hospitals and medical professionals in general, but the staff at Salford Royal reassured me at every step of the way. To all the staff, please know that you do a wonderful job and also note that the next time I walk my dogs I will wear appropriate footwear!! I cannot thank you enough!!! Regards Adrian
