"Stay on aau ..."

About: Bedford Hospital South Wing

I stayed on AAu for 2 days , I'm a nurse myself and found the night staff very uncaring and rude to myself and older patients that clearly could not look after there self and nasty comments could be heard at nurses station . A elderly lady waited over a hour in a dirty bed after she called for there atension ... They was talking and not working ... I have worked for Nhs for over 20 years and never seen so much bad practice that I did in my stay and they was talking about patients and not very confidenshall as they didn't seem who listened ... The 2 lads that worked in the day in the unite was very got and could not do enough... There was an hca lady that was just rude ... I was not given painkillers for 2 days even tho I asked as was in pain and felt unwell and decided to discharge myself to go to my own hospital that I work at and felt like I was not looked after by Bedford and would never moan about Nhs but in all my years never seem care so bad .. No showers on the unite and no tv and very hot ... Food not no hot food in evening ...
