I attended Queens for a septoplasty operation on my nose on wednesday. I had heard some bad reviews about the hospital and did not know what to expect. I went there at 7.30 and was taken onto the ward within 20 minutes of arrival. The nurses on the ward were nice and attentive and explained everything. The surgeon came and explained the procedure that was going to be done. I was told the time I would be taken to theatre. I met the anaethesist who was a lovely lady very reassuring when explaining what was going to happen, she really put me at ease as I was a little scared. Once back on the ward I was treated well with regular checks and the offer of food and drink until I was discharged with the information and supplies I need to care for myself once home. I was not given a survey to fill in like some of the other patients which is why I wanted to take a moment to complete this
