"Little boy being born early"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Maternity care Rotherham Hospital / Paediatrics

(as the patient),

May 2012. I developed pre eclampsia and at 32 weeks had to have an emergency c section. We were transferred to Rotherham as there were no incubators available in any of our Nottinghamshire hospitals. The staff were great and made me feel at ease. Our little boy was born 2 lb 10 oz and he was whisked away to scbu. Every question I had about beeps and wires were answered. Fantastic staff

Dear didi123, thank you for your post on Patient Opinion. We are pleased to hear that you felt that staff were great and you were made to feel at ease whilst your little boy was being cared for in SCBU. Your feedback is really appreciated and will be passed on to the staff concerned,

With best wishes,

Kerry
