Than you for your positive comments regarding the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital especially regarding the cleanliness as this is one of the key quality components that the Trust strives to maintain to a high standard.

With regards to your comment regarding hospital food, we continually measure the opinions of patients during our weekly inpatient satisfaction surveys and monthly matrons’ rounds and try to improve the quality of services provided to patients including food. The Trust is currently reviewing the options available for the continued provision of catering, and a catering project group has been set up to look at all options available and to explore new systems to be included in the catering contract, with the aim of improving the quality and service provided.
