"Review of inpatient care"

Nearly all of the nursing staff were excellent. There was only one member of staff, I felt was grumpy The food was wonderful. I would liked to have had the menu in advance to choose, rather than be handed the menu and have to make an instant decision when someone was standing over me. The highlight of a hospital stay (particularly at the Circle!) is the food and so patients want time to consider and select their food choice and to think about what they have to look forward to! The departure process was excellently handled. The staff member discussed the time I could be picked up and my drugs were brought to me well in advance of this time. I have previous experience in the RUH of a very long wait in the departure lounge for drugs to be brought from the pharmacy. This was not the case at the Circle. My medication was brought to my room and I was free to leave, once my husband arrived to collect me
