What I liked
Most of the staff were friendly and competent and appeared to being their best under difficult circumstances.
What could be improved
Poor communication
very poor decorative and structural repair. Many surfaces were not readily cleansable.
Poor consideration for visitors - example The lifts do not display on every floor as they operate and there is no signage opposite the lifts indicating the floor number. I spoke with a lady who had spent 2 hours in a waiting room on the wrong floor. There was no one to assist in taking my mother out of the building in a wheechair.
Anything else?
The instructions for the car park are bewildering and placed on a notice board a long way from the carpark entrance. Wherever you are able to park you must finally return to the entrance in order to pay. The short stay places by the entrance are routinely abused by people using them for free parking.
