"Exceptional care in ward 1"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Renal (Ward 1)

(as the patient),

Admitted to ERU Monklands Hosp on in early June, and subsequently moved to wards 9 and 14, then eventually Ward 1 after developing acute renal failure. I am a registered nurse myself and have worked in many hospitals and been an inpatient due to ill health.

I have only 1 word to describe my stay as in inpatient in Ward 1, exceptional! The nursing staff are fantastic, knowledgable, and very very compassionate. Medical staff were always willing to explain and take time to speak to relatives. Ancillary staff were always cheerful and would always help if they possibly could.

If I could give out gold medals each and every 1 would have one
