"Golfing-Eye Injury"

I incurred a injury to my face after a golf ball hit my glasses just below my right eye. I attended the A&E department and was immediately fast tracked for inspection. After initial diagnosis, I had an X-ray to verify any fractures to my face.the results showed no break,the A&E department immediately passed me onto the Eye department for further treatment. An excellent, fast and efficient service by a very professional department. The Eye Department assessed my injury and notified me that I required an operation to stitch the injury below my eye. This was carried out within two hours and the surgery is excellent and after receding some 20 stitches you cannot see the injury. An excellent service by both departments. Thank you.
