"Thank you for the help during the birth of my baby girl"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

In February 2013, I found out I was 23weeks pregnant. During this time I was experiencing problems with my blood pressure being too high. My GP, midwives were monitoring it. This was due to eviction, which was given by my landlord to vacate property.

In late March 2013, I was going for my Antenatal Check-up. I was kept in due to high blood pressure. I was sent up to Primrose Ward.

Several times over the weekend I was rushed to the Delivery Suite, then taken back to the Ward. I lost count how many times this happened. I was told 'my baby girl is going to be delivered once there's a free incubator'. During this, I suffered Pre-clampsia.

Three days later, there was a free incubator. My blood pressure was still high and still rising. I was told my baby would have to be delivered or there may be a possibility that they would lose myself and baby. So my baby girl was delivered at 28weeks.

My baby girl was kept on Neo-Natal Ward for following six weeks, where we overcame some difficult times.

I was back on the ward, (not Primrose but other one) where I was cared for by all midwives until the following Wednesday when I was discharged.

She is 15 months old now, but the size of 12 month with being 3 months early.

Myself and partner would like to thank all who that cared for myself and baby daughter.

I do call in onto Wards/Neo-Natal Ward when got check ups, to show how my daughter is growing up.
