"Hours and Hours in A and E"

About: Torbay Hospital

I suffer from many issues and have spent what adds up to days in A and E both for my self and with others. I spent 3 months in hospital in one stay. A & E are grossly under staffed and I sure this has cost lives to f those people waiting on gurneys stacked in the A & E hallways waiting to be treated. Also the children s ward are dreadful for teenagers. The are put in a ward that is barely visited far away from their interested which are the very young and new born. They take up to half an hour to respond to a call. On on occasion my daughter had collapsed and I a disabled person was trying to get her off the floor without help after sitting there for 20 mins. when a nurse finally arrived they refused to help me as they said she was to heavy to lift and left me there holding her unconscious body on the floor. The hospital treatment I have seen and suffered over the years has been disgusting.
