"Telephoning for a blood test at Edgware Community..."

About: Barnet Hospital

It is virtually impossible to make an appointment by telephone for a blood test. My 90 year old mother tried for days only to be given an electronic voice asking to call again. I see it is now possible to arrange appointments by internet. How are the elderly expected to cope with this? I attended for a blood test and noticed that there were no incoming calls and the desk was manned by only one person. Is this part of the cuts we all have to endure?
