"Treatment for a aorta blockage in abdominal region"

Treatment received over 10 year period 2003_2014 My treatment was overseen by the vascular surgeon. He was efficient led his team well and sorted my problem even though it was an unusual one. His manner was strait forward without any overuse of complex terms. he bluntly suggested I give up smoking which was the best way to ensue that I did since I am inclined to be rebellious !! His backup team were brilliant especially the ultra sound (Vascular) team and the radiography consultants. My treatment had a few setbacks i.e.. my stent tried to reject itself but this was picked up early and dealt with. overall I have been very grateful for the standard of care I received. I am now discharged 5th.June 2014
