About: Derriford Hospital

I was admitted as an emergency in January 2014.My situation was explained very clearly by the consultant who was actually waiting for me to arrive in moorgate ward .He told of the risks but at no time did I feel frightened.I had a brain angiogram and was told I would have to have the operation. I was looked after very well in Pencarrow(ICU)..My family felt they were kept informed all the way.

Dear Jnic

I was sorry to learn of your illness in January 2014 but pleased to read that the Consultant was quickly able to put you at ease in what must have been a very unsettling situation. It is also pleasing to note the high standard of care you received in Pencarrow ICU and that your family were well supported throughout.

With all good wishes on your onward recovery.

Kind regards

Mary
