(as the patient),

I attended SMH this week (on two occasions). I spent 6 hours at A & E on the Monday. The place was heaving with standing room only for many patients. Even though the staff were evidently stretched they dealt with me afficiently, cheerfully and with compassion.

I experienced the same standard of care when I returned on Thursday to see a specialist. (4. 5 hours waiting this time). These guys are a credit to the NHS.

I took a good book the second time around!
