"Waiting for results for almost 2 months"

About: Princess Royal University Hospital (Orpington)

I had a CT scan for an ongoing issue on the 15th of April and still haven't had any results back. I've been calling twice weekly but get told the same answer every time - they're not available yet and no one knows why. The lady I speak to is always very helpful and apologetic and I know it isn't her fault and I never usually complain but due my absences at work I need these results ASAP and unfortunately the wait is only making things worse for me. There isn't anything inherently wrong with the hospital or staff in general but there must be some parts of the machine not working correctly for this to happen and perhaps my review will urge some investigation into prolonged waiting times for results. Thanks.

Please can you contact the PALS Service kch-tr.palskent@nhs.net so that we can assist you and your ENT Consultant in obtaining the results of your CT scan through liaison with our Radiology department. I am sorry that despite your regular calls to the hopistal the matter has not been resolved thus far.
