"Not pleased with care at Heartlands"

About: Heartlands Hospital / General surgery

(as a relative),

My partner has been transfered to this hospital (heartlands) to have surgery. I felt that the nurses we saw showed no compassion and made us feel unimportant. There seemed to be no communication between them. My partner has on occasion has had to wait for pain relief hours after it is due to be taken. His surgeon seems more occupied with his own issues instead of the patients. Our experience was absolutely disgraceful.
