Our father had a stroke and had a fantastic experience at UCH but was then transferred to his "local" hospital the North Middx. UCH staff had been friendly, chatty and helpful. North Middx staff were generally unhelpful and, on several occasions, simply rude. The experience left a stroke patient (who is also living with terminal lung cancer) feeling agitated, anxious and, at times, distressed. Not the best stroke recovery experience...
