"Basal Cell Carcinoma removal"

Although diagnosed in October 2013, I had to see a total of 4 consultants (dermatology department was very poor) and wait until April 2014 before I had my operation. However, once I was under the care of the Plastic Surgery team I received excellent care and I have no complaints about the service provided. The operation on my face was deeper and wider than expected but the surgeon talked me through every step. The staff conducting the biopsy and those with post surgery wound care were kind and efficient. Thank you to a wonderful team of people for making such a scary time manageable.
