"The Horder Centre for hip replacement is superb"

I have been twice to the Horder Centre for two hip replacements. The doctor is amazing - no scarring and total confidence in his work. All the staff are highly professional whatever their role - whether delivering the newspaper of your choice - taking your menu - getting an extra cup of tea - or medical services. Its a beautifully laid out building amongst pine forests - glorious aroma of pines - lovely gardens and welcoming local volunteers. You can choose to go to the Horder Centre - its not just private - but the service is as though you are a high paying private patient. It's small enough to be very friendly - parking is free and right by the door. I happily travelled from Ramsgate for this because for a hip replacement you are in for only 2 nights and the days are busy enough without you having visitors sitting around - simply not time for this as you are up and moving as soon as you have had your post-op sandwich and cup of tea! Once you leave and have concerns you can ring at 2.00am if you are worried and they immediately remember you and understand your concerns and you know the staff nurse, resident doctor or a physiotherapist will immediately respond to your enquiry. I can't speak highly enough of the centre and all those that work and volunteer there.
