"Dermatology"

About: St Albans City Hospital

Dermatology Treated me with disdain, little respect, and no sensitivity. Advised me to seek private care! Completely disorganised. I waited for 9 months for this appointment. I have been suffering for well over 18 months with this condition. The doctor refused to give me a proper examination. The 'advice' I got was a joke (they simply told me to 'wait and see'). Nothing else! No explanation. At best, the dermatology department is incompetent; at worst, it is set up as a money-making, cliental recruitment for private care. I am appalled and sickened that tax-payers money supports these cynical con-artists. Other parts of this hospital are excellent. Dermatology is obviously the weak link. The managers should consider a wholesale change in personnel in this department. They do the rest of the hospital a great, great disservice.
