I went to ward G5 for a simple procedure but needing a general...I was very nervous due to past bad experiences but I couldn't have been treated with more care & consideration...after a long wait for a bed I was even more nervous, but when I spoke to the anaesthetist he offered me something to calm my nerves, which helped greatly...all the nurses & theatre staff were top notch & I felt confident that I would be safe in their hands...I have now reduced my phobia of having a general, thanks to the kindness of the staff at DRI...thank you :-)
