Attended for both MRI Scan and Transrectal Ultrasound Scan and Biopsy. Both appointments were offered for the same day and within a week of referral. Explanatory leaflets (in colour and not poor quality photostats) provided with appointment letters. Efficient bar scanning check in. MRI dead on time, ultrasound a little late but apologies offerred. Both conducted by very efficient and friendly staff with comprehensive explanations. The department at this hospital should be offerred as a perfect example of how well the NHS can work, helped by the provision of a modern well laid out building with state of the art equipment.
