Regarding my recent bowel cancer diagnosis. in March 2013 and treatment thanks are due to:
Our G. P. Dr. Shaun Meehan, who initiated the process at an early stage and who has been very supportive.
Mr. D. Y. Artioukh who carefully explained the procedures, and risks involved and with his team, performed the surgery with obvious great skill. And for the reassurance that everything ought to turn out as we would have wished.
To the anaesthetists for allaying my anxieties about anaesthesia historically arising from a dental operation.
To Joanna Sutton, specialist nurse for her support and reassurance.
To the staff of the Ormskirk Endoscopy and X-Ray departments for their reassurance, comfort and support at this traumatic time.
And finally to the staff of Ward 15 b at Southport who have been most professional, extremely caring, friendly and supportive – indeed being everything to the patient which we would like to expect. The patient is treated with dignity and compassion on this ward.
With apologies to anyone else unknown to me who ought to have been included.
In conclusion, anyone reading this will get the general drift of my and my husband’s feeling about my stay in Hospital and events preceding.
Nothing could have been improved upon and a letter to this end was published was published in the local press with copies to the hospital and our GP to whom we expressed our views personally.
"Nothing could have been improved upon"
