"Delamere Day Unit"

I have attended the Delamere Day Unit with my Dad again today. The staff at the hospital are all welcoming, helpful, and friendly. We were directed and accompanied to x ray by a superb volunteer from the front desk. A very personal and appreciated service. The Delamere day centre was superb. Wonderful, caring staff, a very inclusive and person centred approach. The lady looking after people with drinks and sandwiches was very kind. The staff are outstanding in their care and approach to the individual, allaying anxiety and explaining everything so well. I feel completely secure that my Dad is being looked after correctly and appropriately. It's difficult visiting hospitals when you are not used to it, particularly for oncology. I must say though, in a very difficult time I really appreciate the time, care and holistic approach taken. I can see the hospital has worked hard to create an positive ethos. I know this centre treats hundreds of patients a week but you would never know it as you are treated as an individual. Great management by the way! Thank you!
