"Comments on my recent overnight stay"

About: St Mary's Hospital (Manchester)

I came in on May 20th and left the following day. The procedure was elective ovarian keyhole surgery. From the minute I arrived everything went smoothly. No long wait and everyone was polite, efficient and very friendly which made me feel quite relaxed. I was fortunate to be first on the afternoon list so was immediately dealt with in the same efficient manner. There was no aspect of treatment that I was not completely happy about...even the 4 bed ward was quiet and the beds so comfortable. My thanks to everyone from cleaners, all nursing staff, night and day, right through to my excellent surgeon. The phone call from the ward a few days later was much appreciated and rounded off an excellent experience. Well done to all. Very best wishes, Iresine Woolf
