"Cataract procedure"

I am writing this review on behalf of my mum - Doreen - who recently attended Fairfield Hospital to have both cataracts removed. My mum is 85 and she was very nervous about having the procedure done, but from the minute she arrived at the hospital she was put at ease by the staff and her consultant - who was brilliant with her. Mum had one cataract removed first and then three months later, she had the other one done. Both procedures went extremely well, with no problems and full vision was restored within days. In fact, my mum now has better vision than me. Mum has just been for her latest eye test and her optician is delighted. I can not thank the consultant and the staff at Fairfield enough and I would not hesitate using Fairfield again or recommending it to anybody.
