What I liked

Reception staff extremely approachable and helpful.

What could be improved

Consultant's bedside manner in the fracture clinic was non-existent. After being kept waiting one hour and forty minutes past my appointment time I was finally seen, at no time was I offered an apology for being kept waiting by either the consultant or a nurse, which is all I wanted. After a thirty second consultation, the consultant dismissed me with no further information on how to treat my injury apart from a badly photocopied leaflet with a telephone number on and told to call to arrange a physiotherapy session.

Consultants bedside manner needs improving drastically in the fracture clinic.

Signage in the fracture clinic needs improving, patients don't know whether to go through doors of fracture clinic to infrom nurses they have arrived even after they have reported to the reception, this in turn delays the nurses even further, also leads to confusion amongst the patients.
