"I can't thank the staff enough"

About: Southampton General Hospital

I arrived at Southampton hospital on the 14th of May , to have a mitral valve operation the next day. As you would expect I was very nervous and my family were worried sick. The doctors and nurses were fantastic nothing was too much trouble and every question how ever silly was answered fully. On the day of my op the consultant and his team looked after me on the operating table and although I have no idea how much hard work they did I'm very grateful. Nurses worked above and beyond for me. I was then moved to ward E 2 whereby I came across another Nurse, again nothing was too much trouble for her and she really did look after me and my family. Finally I wanted to note the cleaner, he did a great job keeping everything clean, under very difficult circumstances, with out him whatever the doctors and nurses did we wouldn't get out alive. There were lots of other people but these were the ones that really stood out and they couldn't have done what they did for me without the rest of the team . So thank you all, the only way I can repay you is to look after myself and not come back. Thanks I will never forget any of you.
