"Nursing Staff"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

I was recently admitted for elective surgery. The theatre staff, anaesthetist and especially my surgeon were amazing and I would trust them again without question. I was an exceptionally nervous patient and could not have been reassured and cared for any better than I was. The food was fine and the room was spotless. Everything went ahead as planned. The only fault I have is sadly towards the nursing staff. Without wanting to go into detail, they need to be reminded that the doors of the rooms are not soundproof.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience of the Orthopaedic Service at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. Your kind comments about the theatre staff, anaesthetist and surgeon have been passed on to relevant managers to share with the teams. However, we were disappointed to note that your experience of the nursing staff did not meet the same high standards. We have brought this matter to the attention of the Matron, so that your feedback can be used to help improve the service we provide. If you would like any further information, please contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01892 632953 or email mtwpals@nhs.net where a member of the team will be happy to help. We hope that you are recovering well from your surgery. Kind regards, The PALS Team.
