Unbelievable my husband finally escaped from ward 29 as previous review. Has lots of problems with communication the whole time he was on this ward. Clearly informed nurse and so did my husband they needed to set up skin and IV nurses for 6 weeks on the night of his discharge, and guess what no nurses came. Even spoke to the matron of the ward about it and when finally got hold of him to complain my husband hadnt had Nurses they tell me that my husband will have to come in each day to get the IV in hospital because basically no one had informed the community nurses. If the matron cant chase this up then what chance has anybody got of getting anything done. When I asked the matron why he hadnt chases this matter at 12.30 when I spoke to him and it was now 4 oclock he get shirty and tells me he has other things to do. Ha ha does he think I have nothing better to do than chase him and his staff to do there job properly in the first place, This has been a very stressful time for my husband, me and my three young children Thank you ward 29 for 4 and a half weeks of been fobbed off, miss informed and patient neglect. You should all be really proud of yourselves.
