"Cataract operation"

About: Fulwood Hall Hospital

I had a cataract op a week ago (the first of two). The initial examination was very informative with all questions (even daft ones) being answered. Staff were without exception friendly and helpful, waiting times were very short all areas were bright, clean and comfortable. I stupidly left some paperwork behind and was informed by a polite phone call - it was labelled and waiting for me on my next visit.. Operation day.....I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. My fears were reduced to the lowest levels possible - and I am quite twitchy about ops. The surgeon talked me through and kept me informed throughout. Whilst I am not exactly looking forward to my next eye op, I am not viewing it with the trepidation I carried with me before.
