My father was admitted for an operation for a hernia, he was admitted onto Sunderland Day Care unit but as an in patient, at 81yrs old he became quite confused at times and the Nurse in charge of his care went that extra mile to reassure both him and my mother as to what was happening/going to happen, and at the same time kept myself informed, in my opioin she deserves full recognition for her professional approach and caring nature.
