About: NHS Trafford CCG St Mary's Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My daughter has received IVF treatment at St Mary's Hospital where she was only able to receive one cycle of treatment. We're aware that the NICE guidelines recommend that three cycles are offered. If this is the case, why is Trafford only offering one cycle?

In the end, my daughter had to go private and paid £8,000 in total for two more cycles.

It feels that we're just paying lip service here in Trafford and like everything, it all comes down to money.
