"Outpatient clinics delays in London"

About: Royal Free Hospital / Dermatology St Mark's Hospital / Colorectal surgery

(as the patient),

I have experienced in one week 90 minute delay wait in outpatient Dermatology Royal Free Hospital

Today I had appt at 1. 30 with two colorectal surgeons St Marks Bowel Hospital. Arrived to find a queue of angry patients all booked in at same time. There were 4 patients all booked in at 1. 30 pm to see both of them.

I made waves with PALS as I had another medical appt booked Great Ormond Steet and my partner had an emergency client situation in Northampton to rush to.

So I ask Northwick Park Management why are so many patients booked in slots at 1. 30? So essentially it's first come, first serve and god help you if there are two patients in front of you who take up one hour before your booked 1.30 appt.

It seems ludicrous to book so many patients at the same time when your trust has only 1 outpatient bowel clinic every Weds afternoon.
