"skin cancer clinic"

About: Castle Hill Hospital

Having been diagnosed with skin cancer (very scary experience) i can only say that my experience of being operated on by the surgeon and his deputy (really sorry i can't remember her name) and being looked after by the staff of ward 8 has been examplary.. Having had no experience of hospitals and surgery before i was apprehensive to say the least but was made relaxed and very comfortable by the staff of ward 8 and by the professionalism of all the team. After surgery the ward was clean ,the food etc tasty and hot and i felt like i was very well looked after by all the staff. I was really pleased when the surgeon came to see me late at night after what must have been a very long day for her to give me a update and then she went round all the other patients chatting to them and knew them all by their names which we all thought was fantastic and beyond what we expected. I would have no qualms about further treatment if needed by this team which is the hightest praise i can give.
