"Some of the midwives did go out ..."

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Some of the midwives did go out of their way to help, especially on C3 and Delivery Suite.

What could be improved

Attitude of staff on C2 postnatal ward, communication between staff especially doctors and consultants. More support for women that have had sections (help with babies).

Anything else?

I was very upset with the care I recieved from the hospital, I ended up back in over Christmas after having a section with possible blood clots due to not having got the right care in the first place. After just having a new baby 7 days earlier

I then ended up back in on Christmas day and spent the whole of Christmas in hospital, separating my family, having this not caused enough distress being a first time mum, the communication between doctors, nurses and midwives wasn't very good and again affected my care.
