I am 63 yrs old and had a stroke on 23 April 2014. My ambulance was met by staff from the Stroke Unit and I would like to give a big "thank you" to the team. From arrival to being thrombolysed took 30 minutes. In the 30 minutes they carried out an ECG, bloods, CT scan etc. I have made a very good recovery which is entirely due to the excellent care from all the staff who looked after me. Thank you.
