After an accident at work I had to visit the a&e . Was treated fantastically by friendly and professional staff right from receptionist through xray to the emergency care practitioner who patched me up and sent me on my way. From hobbling in to leaving having been x-rayed, treated, given advice on injury care and with a fracture clinic appointment was under 3 hours. Having been informed on arrival waiting times were extremely long I was impressed and had been ready to settle in for a much longer wait. The hospital was cleaner than any other hospital I have had the misfortune to be a patient or visitor in and whilst I hope I never need to go back if I do have another mishap I would hope to end up at the PRUH.
